Get the right details ready
Choose the correct hosting package and domain. Changes made in cPanel can affect the live website, email, files and databases.
Security first. Never include account passwords, card details or authentication codes in a support ticket.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS
Make the change in Knox
Work through each step in order. Keep this guide open in another tab if that is easier.
- 1
Open the hosting service and locate Hosting usage.
- 2
Disk storage includes files, mail and account data reported by cPanel.
- 3
Bandwidth shows transfer recorded during the current period.
- 4
Use cPanel tools for a more detailed breakdown when required.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Check that it worked
Knox displays the latest disk, bandwidth, mailbox and database figures reported by cPanel.
IF IT DOES NOT LOOK RIGHT
Try this before contacting support
Usage can lag briefly behind recent uploads or deletions. Empty the application trash where applicable and check again after cPanel recalculates usage.
